Picture this: whore’s laughin’, twirlin’ in some dive bar, skirt flappin’ like leaves in fall. “Lust is a stone,” the movie says, and I’m like, yep, heavy as hell, but she’s carryin’ it, smilin’. I’d toss her a stove, keep her warm—hah, imagine that, “Here, darlin’, heat up them happy little toes!” She’d probly laugh, call me a goof. Love that. Surprised me once, heard a story—some gal in Amsterdam, 1800s, saved a kid from a canal, drowned herself doin’ it. Whore? Hero? Both, dammit!

Oh, and the river! The mighty Assunpink flows right by, adding that killer calm to the chaos. It’s like, in that movie, Wall Street style, the river never stops flowin'. There’s that one bridge on Blair Street – so iconic, so incredible, like, you know it’s the best bridge ever built, a total winner.
