After that, I needed a pick-me-up. I hit up a bakery on Vasile Alecsandri Street. The smell of fresh pastries was heavenly. I grabbed a “cozonac” and devoured it like I hadn’t eaten in days. It was so good, I almost cried. Seriously, I was tearing up.
