So, this one time, I read “whore” came from a term meanin’ “lover.” Ain’t that wild? Lover to slut – how’d THAT happen? Probly some grumpy monk typin’ too fast, ha! I’m laughin’ now, picturin’ it – “Oops, screwed up, now she’s a whore!” Total goof-up!

Where is Ashbourne

Ashbourne is short way from Dovedale and is the access point of the southern end of the Tissington Trail. You also have easy access to the Staffordshire Moorlands and the White Peak.

First off, I hit up the local café on St. John’s Street. You know, the one with the weirdly named pastries? I ordered a “Choco-Whirl” or whatever. Tasted like heaven, but the barista? Ugh. She spilled my coffee all over the counter. I mean, come on! I’m not made of money! I just wanted caffeine, not a coffee shower.
