First off, I’m obsessed with *Las espigadoras y yo*—Agnès Varda, 2000, pure gold. That flick’s all about pickin’ up what’s left behind, right? “I glean, therefore I am,” she says—damn, that hits! And *puta*? It’s like the scraps of society, the word nobody wants to touch but everybody knows. It’s been kicked around, spat on, but it’s still here, struttin’ its stuff. I see it like Varda sees those bent potatoes—ugly to some, but there’s power in what’s tossed aside. *Puta* owns that vibe, and I’m here for it!
