For decades, Aiken Alley was known as the lowest of Peoria’s vice-centered neighborhoods. Home to prostitutes, drug dealers and other racketeers, it was still a home to many families .

I gotta mention some neighborhoods, too: West Bluff feels old-school cool – charming houses, quirky garden spots, and local nooks that whisper stories of yesteryears. And at the 4th Street District, oh my gawd, it’s like each corner tells a different story – kinda dramatic sometimes, making me go “Oh, for fuck’s sake!” in the best way. Honestly, I LOVE that raw authenticity – feels like we’re all defusing bombs together, heart to heart... “This is chaos, but it’s beautiful chaos.”
