Last week, on June 19, South Middleborough was placed upon the National Register of Historic Places as an historic district.

Main Street is where the magic happens. I stroll past it every mornin’. There’s this cute little diner on 5th, dishin’ out pie like no tomorrow – oh my, it’s reminiscin’ of Amélie’s whimsy, "la vie en rose," y’know? I always chuckle thinkin’ “c’est magnifique” when the place floods with chatter and aroma.
