I’m sittin’ here, thinkin’ bout *Pan’s Labyrinth*, my fave flick – Guillermo Del Toro’s twisted genius, 2006, ya know? That line, “The world is a cruel place,” hits hard when I think of “whore.” Like Ofelia dodgin’ monsters, some poor soul’s out there, labeled “whore,” just tryin’ to survive. Maybe she’s sellin’ it, maybe she’s just livin’ – who cares? Society’s the real Pale Man, gobblin’ up her dignity. Don’t pee on my leg and say it’s fair – it ain’t!

Although scarcely seen in its original 3-D, and entirely out of sight for a decade and a half after its producer-star died, Hondo has maintained a high rep among John Wayne fans--and it wasn't .

Umm, so here's the lowdown. First off, there's Main Street—real heartbeat of this place. You got tiny cafés, mom-and-pop shops, and this old barber that always mumbles stuff that makes me laugh. Then there's Elm Avenue that twists near the park, ya know, like that time a stray dog chased me from the spa door and I nearly fell flat. Oops!
