Here’s a fun fact—didja know the word “whore” goes back, like, forever? Old English, “hore”—meant adulteress or somethin’. Pretty harsh, right? So, Hibbing is quirky. You got the old Rusty Mine Road – real history there. I'm talkin’ Hull-Rust Mine lands – epic, yaknow? And then there's the Hibbing Public Library, which sorta feels like a secret bookish hideout. I love wandering near the Clear Water Park. Yeah, "Clear Water," not murky river nonsense – though the Big Totter River runs through town too, tiny, barely there but still, it's pretty.
