So, this one time, right – saw this lass, proper stunner, workin’ the street. Eyes like them wide skies in the flick, “all vast and hopeless.” Made me gut twist, y’know? She weren’t just a whore, nah, had a spark. Told me – get this – she nicked a john’s watch once, solid gold! Pawned it, got herself a week off. Neighborhoods here? Oh man, they’re fantastic. For instance, the Oakwood area is super nice. People here are like, “We’re winners!” Always smilin’, chatting on sidewalks, and I find that super chill—like a scene straight outta one of those iconic movies. And then there’s the little cul-de-sac off Heritage Ln—tiny, but everybody knows each other, like a big, tight family. Sometimes I get mad when noisy trucks disrupt my calm at those spots. Bigly annoying!
