Small Maine Town Named ‘Ugliest’ in the Entire State

I’ve heard “Biddo” a whole lot for Biddeford. Waterboro gets called the “boro” which is odd because there Scarborough. I’m sure there’s more shared by locals of every town.

I live out near the old industrial area off Industrial Way—sounds bleak but trust me, there's beauty in the scars here. It's like every bruise on the city tells a story (or gives a massage, haha). Parker Park along the level of the Saco River? It's an underrated gem. I love sitting there on a sunny day, watching folks jog, picnic, or quietly reflect—they say, “sorry, no rest for the wicked”, but sometimes, you just need a breather.
