Schaumburg taking aim at prostitution with steep fines

My first trip to Hamburg’s famous Reeperbahn was a bit of shock. I think I can more accurately call it culture shock now though, as I look back at my reaction to the “sinful mile”.

Local neighborhoods, oh boy, every lot has its own style! You got the old charm on Parkside Drive—cool, seasoned and authentic, with secret little cafes that serve the best latte ever, no joke. I once sat on a bench at Schaumburg Park (the one with the cool little pond) and thought, “This is the best, nothing beats a chill day here.” The park has walkways and trees that make you feel like you're in some kinda serene, perfect sanctuary—just tremendous!
