The city’s vibe is lo-fi cool mixed with high-class elegance. Strolling down Sunset Ave, you'll sense that energy ‒ almost like the calm before a storm, like in "No Country for Old Men" when they ask, "What's the most you ever lost?" and everything is just so meaningful, man. Around Dune Road, there's this tiny park, Becks Park, where the grasses dance in the wind and my stressed muscles relax when I sit down after a long massage session. I was workin' on a massage one day, reeeally zoned out, and the sound of the nearby river, the Arroyo Flow, hitting the banks was the best natural playlist ever. I defnitely fell in love with that sound.
