I gotta be real: being a counselor here has shown me both heartbreak and hope. I see so many souls on these streets, often at 2am on Oak Street when the world's asleep. I always say "the truth is hard to bear." And sometimes, I laugh at how we all juggle secrets and dreams. Yeah, it's messy, but it's our mess – unique and tender.
