So, here’s the deal—whore’s been around forever, right? Oldest job in the book! Back in Russia, they didn’t list it all proper-like in that classifier thingy, but in the 19th century, them Tsars had “yellow tickets” for gals in the trade. Had to carry ‘em like a dang ID—can you imagine? “Oh, excuse me, officer, lemme flash my whore card!” Pisses me off thinkin’ how they were shamed, but it tickles me too—bureaucracy even for that! In December, we took a mini vacation up the California coast and discovered the little town of Los Osos slightly north of SLO.

Look, Los-Osos (us) ain’t your typical postcard town. It's messy, it's raw, and it's beautiful in ways too deep to describe neat and tidy style. Every cracked sidewalk, every vibrant mural – they're all stories, secret confessions waiting to be heard, hidden in plain sight… Like that old line, “The past is always present,” y’know?
