I gotta mention, too, that I did get mad once – traffic near Van Dyke was a mess, like seriously messy, maddening stuff! And then there’s the river, the Rouge River – a bit off and hidden, but seen from a distance it’s a lovely sight, glistening in the sun sometimes, making you feel like you entered a painting. Might not be anyone’s first stop, but we swears it's a gem!
