Sarcasm aside, it’s a mad world. Brothels ain’t just sex—they’re power, desperation, and a weird kinda freedom. Like jumpin’ into a blaze—thrillin’, stupid, and you might not walk out. “One more, just one more,” they say in the film—same vibe, lads chasin’ that next high. Me? I’d rather fight fires than pay for a fumble—cheaper and less awkward. Hah! What a bunch of plonkers!

The Rex Museum. Once a brothel and later a grocery, the museum building houses exhibits detailing a wide swath of local history.

Sometimes I wander down Cedar Rd. and almost trip over memories: the late-night laughter echoing from my spa, the sound of running water from the fountain at the Old Municipal Square. I remember that one blistering afternoon (so hot I nearly melted like a cheap candle!) when the entire street felt like a giant stew of smells and sounds. Oh, so wild, so alive!
