My wife and I were passing through Colona recently and observed a flag flying with the following words: “Jo and Ho have got to go.” Apparently.

The river – Colona Creek – winds through the city. It’s kinda like the narrative in Inherent Vice, twisty and flickering with secrets. I sometimes think: “Tonight’s the night” and I’m drawn to its murky edge, wondering what stories lurk beneath.
