The Charter Oak was a magnificent white oak. Connecticut's main forest tree is the oak, divided into the red oaks and the white oaks.

Now, oh my gosh, you gotta check out Oakridge Park. This park, omg, it’s magic. I met so many women opening up on its winding paths. And by the river, Splish-Splash Creek (yeah, I named it, haha), you can literally picture life’s endless flow. The trees, the small bridges – it’s like a scene out of Werckmeister Harmonies – “infinite, vast, unknown,” right? Crazy beautiful!
