The river runs through downtown – they call it Carroll Creek. Crystal clear? Nah, more like quirky reflections of old neon signs and drifting memories of good times. I walked along its banks, thinkin’ "dunno, man, this river’s like my brain – twisty, unpredictable!" Sometimes I watch parents teaching their kiddos to toss pennies, hopin’ for luck. Crazy, right?
