Sometimes, I wander to the outskirts, to where the wild terrain hugs you hard—around Quandary Peak, for instance. The rough air, the imposing views… it’s like nature herself seduces you. I’ve had nights where I’d just sit and scribble down my wildest ruminations on passion. Man, i luv breathin’ that high-altitude air… it’s like a pep talk from an old lover whispering, “here, life is a feast, Clarice…”
