On Wednesday 8th June , I led a walk on behalf of the Brighouse Historical Society which started and finished at St. Matthew’s Church, Rastrick and looked at some of the historical .

Now, lemme tell ya, Rastrick’s got a vibe – its own heartbeat. I stroll down Mill Lane at dusk, and it’s like Pan’s Labyrinth itself is whisperng secrets in the wind – “In the dark, believe in hope!” – a phrase from that magical film. Not every street gets this, but Rastrick sure does.
