Lent (Latin: Quadragesima, [1] 'Fortieth') is the solemn Christian religious observance in the liturgical year in preparation for Easter. It echoes the 40 days Jesus spent fasting in the desert .

First off, I roll into Lent, and it’s like, what’s up with the weather? One minute it’s sunny, the next it’s pouring like the sky’s got a grudge. I’m parked on the Hoofdstraat, just chillin’, and boom! Rain hits. I’m like, great, just great. My shiny machine’s gonna look like a muddy mess.
