But then, outta nowhere, it starts to rain. Like, seriously? I’m in my Maiko outfit, and now I’m gonna look like a wet noodle. I duck into this little shop on the corner of the Ginnekenweg. It’s cozy, and they have the best stroopwafels. I grab one, and it’s like heaven in my mouth. I’m munching away, and the rain’s pouring outside. I’m thinking, “This is the life.”
