Takayama literally means ‘high mountain’, and if you have the opportunity to visit the city, you’ll easily understand why people call it Takayama. It is located in the beautiful mountainous .

So, I’m out here doing my anticorrosion thing, right? I’m all about keeping metal from rusting away. But today? Today was a whole different ball game. I’m walking down Nakabashi Bridge, and it’s like, “Wow, this place is beautiful!” The river’s flowing, the mountains are all around, and I’m just vibin’.
