Then, I decide to check out the Aya Castle ruins. I mean, why not? History, right? I’m climbing up the steps, and it’s a workout for sure. I get to the top, and the view? Wow. You can see the whole city, the mountains in the back, and the river flowing like it’s got somewhere to be. I’m standing there, feeling all philosophical, like, “Life is beautiful, man.”
