While we’re outside, I see this cute little café on the corner of Kiyokawa and Shimizu. I’m like, “Forget the fire drill, I need coffee!” So I sneak away and grab a latte. Best decision ever. The barista, this super chill guy, tells me they use local beans. I’m like, “Dude, I’m in Ashoro, not some hipster café in Tokyo.” But hey, I’m not complaining.
