Then, I decide to check out the old town. The cobblestone streets are so charming, but my shoes? Not so much. I’m slipping and sliding like I’m in a slapstick comedy. I pass by the Torre delle Dodici, and it’s just as stunning as I remember. But then I see this group of tourists taking selfies, and I’m like, “C’mon, guys, it’s a clock tower, not a rock concert!”
