Located in the Western part of Iceland, Akranes is a major economic center that also has a lot to offer the intrepid traveler. There is actually a lot more to Akranes than initially meets the eye. .

Finally, I get back to making stoves. I’m in the zone, you know? Crafting like a madman. I’m thinking about how I’ll sell these beauties at the market on the weekend. Akranes has this awesome vibe, especially at the market. People are friendly, and the food is to die for.
