Introduction

Ajami is a predominantly Arab neighborhood in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel, situated south of Old Jaffa and north of the Jabaliyya neighborhood on the Mediterranean Sea.

But then, outta nowhere, it starts to rain. Like, what?! I’m sprinting for cover, laughing like a maniac. I duck into this café on Jerusalem Street. I grab a hot chocolate, and it’s the best decision ever. I’m sittin’ there, watchin’ the rain, and I’m just... happy. Like, really happy.
