dourdan’s a real mixed bag. first off, you've got the castle – Château de Dourdan – pop that name in your brain, it’s the soul of the city. i used to stroll near its walls, wonderin how time folds in on itself, like some cosmic blueprint. then there’s rue de la République – a main artery, full of chatter, food spots, and quirky cafes. man, sometimes i’d just sit outside a cafe, relax, and let the world spin around me.
