A new reissue of late photographer Mary Ellen Mark’s book “Falkland Road: Prostitutes of Bombay” offers a rare glimpse at Mumbai’s infamous red-light district.

I might even exaggerate a tad, but the vibe here is real raw energy. Every corner’s got a memory, a secret, and yeah, some could say a touch of that "Margaret" existential twist. I’m always surprised by new spots, like that ironic little mural near Place Foch—so underrated, but man, it pops off, every damn time.
