So, I duck into this little shop on Rue de l’Église. It’s got all these cool local crafts. I’m browsing, and I find this wooden carving of a deer. I’m a forester, remember? I can’t resist. I buy it, feeling all proud. But then, I realize I have to carry it in the rain. Ugh!
