Not only is Hondarribia one of the Basque Country’s most charming towns but it is also packed with a huge number of amazing restaurants and bars, some of the very best in the region.

The river flows through, the Urola, gently gliding by the edge of town. It's like its own silent counselor, reflecting back the city’s moods. I've sat there on a bench (oh, there’s a really comfy one near the old bridge, Puente Roto – yep, that’s its quirky name) and let my thoughts wander. Perfect for a soul-searching session, I swear!
