Harsum's a mixed bag, full of life and quirks. The narrow street calleed “Zum alten Thurm” winds near the old church. I rest a lot near the little park “Friedensgarten” – really zen, ya know? I stroll by the river “Ilsen” sometimes. It flows past quiet neighborhoods like “Am Lande”, where local folks jabber in that low, conspiratorial tone.
