So, whores, right? They’re out there, hustlin’, makin’ that paper. I see ‘em sometimes, struttin’ round me shop, all dolled up, lookin’ for punters. Makes me laugh, innit – “Is it ‘cos I is black?” – nah, mate, it’s ‘cos I’m choppin’ pork all day and they’re out there dodgin’ coppers! Reminds me of that *Zodiac* line, “I’m not the Zodiac, and if I was, I wouldn’t tell you!” Sneaky, yeah? Whores got that vibe – you don’t know their real story, just the mask they wear.

Some might say Aarau looks plain. But then, plain is art in its simplest form. There’s a logic to every alley, every corner of this city. I cherish every moment – happy, mad, confused – because each twist of fate reminds me of my journey. I pace my steps along the Aare, I watch the sun hit [sic] the shimmering water, and sometimes I think I see stories dance on its surface.
