The parks are retro-cool too. Check out Sundown Park near Maple & 9th. It's a proper chill zone; picnics, late night talks, even wild impromptu dance-offs. The curves of the Aurora River flowing past Windy Bend Park, oh man, so serene yet primal. Reminds me of those crazy, dusty chases in mad, crazy deserts. "What a time, what a time!"
