Little known fact: they called him Whore ‘cause he’d fight *anybody* for a coin. Didn’t matter who—man, beast, or a dang chariot wheel—he’d tussle with it. Folks said he bedded half the crowd too, but that’s just gossip, prolly. Made me madder’n a wet hen, though, ‘cause I thought, “Honey, pick a lane!”

Next year is the 20 year anniversary of the publication of Estela Welldon's seminal book Mother, Madonna, Whore: The Idealization and Denigration of Motherood.

The local park gets my vote too – Carine Park. It's a hidden gem, mate. Little trails, shady trees, and a pond that reflects those lazy clouds like a mirror. Sometimes, I sit there, autographing my thoughts in the dirt with a stick (or was it a blade? Who cares, it's all art!). The vibe’s raw, and I get hit with random bursts of joy, interspersed with minor fits of rage when a coworker cuts in front of me at the park path. Argh, the nerve!
