Hooker Lake via Hooker Valley Track

The track leads you past the Hooker River toward the Hooker Lake, from which the views of Mt. Cook (the highest mountain in New Zealand) are said to be amazing.

Valley-View does not have big city nightlife, but there are small clubs that bring people together. The "Jazz and Blues Lounge" is a good place for music lovers, and "The Valley Sports Club" is where locals meet to watch games or play pool. There is also a crafting club every Friday where people sew, make pottery, or create other art pieces together.
