They’re the shadow in the alley, the wink that says, “I know somethin you don’t.” Once knew this gal, right, swore she bedded a duke in ’53—said he left her a ruby ring, but she pawned it for gin. And hey, Balga’s got weird little corners. You gotta check out East End alley – super gritty but fascinating. There’s a mural, believed to be painted by a local legend. Wow, so many impressions! Also, the river – the Swan Creek – flows near Liberty Park. It reminds me of a scene in that Coen brothers film (“inside Llewyn Davis” – you know, when everything seems out of tune, but then BAM there’s clarity!). Tremendous beauty, just like a perfect record.
