Kurobe is located in northeastern of Toyama Prefecture, with a topography ranging from sea level at Toyama Bay to the meter mountains of the Northern Alps on the border with Nagano .

First off, I woke up late. Alarm didn’t go off. Classic! I had to rush outta my place on Kurobe’s main street, Kurobe-cho. I swear, I was half-dressed, running like a madman. I mean, who needs pants when you’re just grabbing coffee, right?
